It’s a pre-visualization showing what they are able to on the next generation hardware (Xbox 360, PS3, etc.)
More specifically, I found this quote:
“the clip is of course pre-rendered but is also pre-vis - to get the development team hyped up for a butt-kicking next-gen video game. The interview goes into detail on a new game engine that they’re developing from scratch to the really cool sounding NaturalMotion and Pixelux’s Digital Molecular Matter technologies. Blackman mentions that the team feels confident that they can pull off the stunts seen in the pre-rendered clip with the help of the new technology when the game is finished.”
